SOLO IMPROVISED PERFORMANCES
I have an ongoing practice of performing solo improvisations that incorporate movement and voice.
In these solos, I am tuning into an awareness of my surroundings, senses, imagination, memory and desire. I dive into what is interesting to me in the moment and this leads to a shapeshifting assemblage of states, textures, characters, observations and more.
The duration of the performances is decided before and is totally variable, although on average, 10-15mins.
I perform in a range of venues/ events from music venues, as a supporting act for musicians to art galleries as part of exhibitions.
Below are a few examples of solos that were filmed. To stay up to date about future performances please see my Instagram.
